A landmark gallery in SoHo since 1984, Animazing exhibits a unique collection of original and limited edition animation and illustration artwork that indulges the senses and emotions with color & playfulness. Exclusive collections include art & sculpture by great American illustrators, such as Tim Burton, Theodor Geisel, Charles M Schulz, & Maurice Sendak. Animazing has hosted outstanding events to honor and showcase some of the greatest artists, directors, authors, and entertainment figures of the last 25 years.
Fine Art (such as The PEANUTS Paintings by Tom Everhart, Imaginary Realism by Daniel Merriam, Tim Burton conceptuals, the art of Nicoletta Ceccoli, the drawings and paintings of Brian Froud, etc) are now part of Animazing's newest endeavor, AFA.

Animazing Gallery is excited to announce its newest endeavor, AFA (Animazing Fine Art). Animazing began in 1984 as a gallery specializing in conceptual animation art. Over time, the collection expanded to include works by a wide range of renowned Illustrators and pop culture artists. With this transition into AFA, we embrace another organic shift that focuses our original intentions into the world of Fine Art. Our mission is to find and exhibit a wildly imaginative, edgy and inspired collection of original and limited edition works that indulge the senses and engage the emotions. Our existing ownership, location and personnel will remain the same, energized by new artists and endeavors that will redefine our ambition and vision. We are proud to introduce the new AFA at our SoHo location and online at AFANYC.com. Animazing Gallery will continue to showcase original illustration & animation art via select exhibitions and through animazing.com.
In 2005, Animazing Gallery ambitiously opened a new location with museum exhibitions & numerous galleries at the Chateau de Belcastel in southern France.The Chateau is a tourist attraction, historial landmark, commercial filming location, and exclusive retreat. Information about the chateau is on line in French & English at www.ChateauBelcastel.com.
